Claude in the City has been selected for the Richard and Judy Children's Book Club 2011.
Alex T. Smith won second place in the Macmillan Prize for Children's Illustration whilst studying at Coventry university. He is a newcomer in the world of picture books and works with Hodder and Scholastic on picture books and has done four board books with Macmillan.
